Finally in Africa!!!

Hey. I have internet for today because I'm stayin' in Ghana for the night so I just thought I'd say hi. So hi! From Africa!! Its been pretty awesome so far. A lot has already happened. Watched the sunrise on the plane, spent 3 hours trying to help my teammates get their baggage (2 of matt's bags were lost), met some people trying to get things from us in the parking lot of the airport, ran through the rain of an amazing downpour, had lunch with the team and missionaries, went to the market, played some cards with the team and now we're chilling. Sleep has been lacking because I had 4 hours before I left and only one hour on the plane. So, between those two nights...only 5 hours of sleep. Crazy weird.

That's about all that's happening as of yet. I can already tell its going to be a very impacting summer. More to come soon!

Kacy, what you are doing is truly amazing. I have no words to express how proud I am of you for doing this. I haven't been much of a GodFather to you but you have certainly found your own path in the world and are going to do great things. The world is yours to do great things. May God Bless you, your team and your mission. Keep blogging so we can share your experience.

Love and God Bless,
Uncle Brian

If I had only half the strength, faith and courage you have, I would be a much better person. We are so proud of the fine young man you have become. Let God continue to be your guide and you'll know exactly what brought you on this amazing mission. We love and miss you, Aunt Peg and Tyler
